Compensation: $80,000-$95,000/year

We are partnering with a wonderful NW based company in their search for a detail-oriented and experienced Systems Administrator to support and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and security of systems, networks, and user accounts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Core Responsibilities:
- User & Identity Management:
- Administers user accounts, roles, and group policies across Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
- Manages SCIM provisioning, SSO integrations, and user lifecycle automation
- Maintains license compliance, identity security, and group-based access control
- Endpoint & Device Management:
- Oversees device provisioning, configuration, and compliance using Microsoft Intune
- Coordinates software deployment, patching, and mobile device management (MDM)
- Establishes and enforces endpoint security and standard operating procedures
- Network & Systems Administration:
- Manages local and cloud-based network infrastructure, including firewalls and VPNs
- Configures and monitors DNS, mail flow security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and connectivity
- Ensures uptime, performance, and reliability across infrastructure components
- Security & Compliance:
- Implements Conditional Access policies, MFA enforcement, and SAML certificate renewals
- Conducts audits, monitors system logs, and ensures compliance with security policies
- Develops and maintains documentation for security protocols and disaster recovery plans
- Project Management & Integration:
- Leads IT projects involving system upgrades, software rollouts, and cloud migrations
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams for technical integrations and infrastructure planning
- Develops maintenance schedules, SOPs, and scalable system architectures
- Technical Support & Operations:
- Handles advanced technical escalations from helpdesk staff
- Provides guidance on IT best practices, user training materials, and documentation
- Supports business continuity initiatives and data backup/recovery strategies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure roles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and modern endpoint management
- Proficiency in network administration, firewall configuration, and cloud services
- Demonstrated success managing IT projects and supporting distributed teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to produce technical documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels
- Must be 21 years of age or older (per regulatory requirements)
- Background check and state-required licenses or certifications required
- Ability to travel locally between sites as needed
